Qualitative Marketing Research

Conducting over 2,700 focus groups sessions a year across the C.I.S., Ipsos Russia's Qualitative Research Division provides expert, bilingual moderators, in-depth analysis and action-oriented findings to its client partners. Ipsos's Qualitative Research Division is the largest qualitative department in Russia, a team of 40 high-level qualitative professionals (30 researches and 10 fieldworkers).

Qualitative research gets into the hearts and minds of the consumer and provides insight into the underlying motivations for their behavior. These insights may be used singularly or they may provide direction for largescale quantitative surveys.

Our approach to qualitative research is predicated on intimate interaction with the client from the onset of the project to its ultimate conclusion. We believe that research of this nature implies a partnership between the client and researcher so that the action standards are defined and met. Don't be surprised if we ask you as many questions as we ask the respondents!

Ipsos Russia has applied qualitative research to a range of applications in the emerging marketplace, including:

In its Moscow offices, Ipsos Russia operates 4 up-to-date focus group facilities with one-way mirrors and simultaneous translation systems that allow observers to listen in their selected languages.

In addition to our on-site facilities, we also conduct groups throughout the C.I.S., so whether it be St. Petersburg or Siberia, Ipsos Russia provides the same high level of recruitment and client support services.
